Hilary MacMillan is a women’s wear designer based here in Toronto. She creates clothes for the urban woman. Her style – modern and feminine, her fabrics – luxurious; but what makes Hilary’s pieces so coveted are the different patterns of the fabric she creates exclusively for each collection!
Her SS16 collection was inspired by her travels to Tanzania. While there, Hilary fell for the vibrant colours of the fabrics and brought her back to the 70’s.
I wholeheartedly agree! The tamed blue, green, purple, and gold colours reminded me of the beautiful Bond girls (circa Sean Connery) and the oversized sunglasses adds to the drama! Safe to say that I’m hooked! I can’t wait for Spring!
