New Years Style Resolution: Wear More Fabulous Sleeves

By  |  0 Comments

I abhor New Years Resolutions. Maybe because its associated with never really following through beyond the first or second week of January or maybe because its usually a list of things none of us really enjoy doing. I get it, setting goals is important – it gives us a direction, a purpose, and a reason to push ourselves to do things things we otherwise wouldn’t.

Maybe it’s just me but every year, I drag myself mentally kicking and screaming to participate in this ritual. However last week, I had an epiphany – why am I forcing myself to do things I don’t even enjoy? Why don’t I set goals that are actually fun and something I would be excited about – which in turn would yield a higher success rate of completion. Why not?

So I said, yes! The first thing on the list is to wear more fabulous sleeves – because sleeves should be anything but boring, just like this year should be!

On the contrary, it will be a challenge to fit these voluminous sleeves inside a winter jacket but no pain no gain, right?

Watch me sashay into 2017 with my sleeves.

And before we know it, its almost the finish line and my year was filled with bell sleeves, cut out shoulders, and my torso would have been elongated and my mood uplifted because I had enjoyed every minute of this resolution!

This, my friend is where I leave you with the hope that you will add at least one thing you truly enjoy on your Reso list because why not?
